The Chocoholic's Day
Cooking with chocolate - an expert demonstration by a professional patisserie chef during which you will consider the story and origins of chocolate, its discovery, medicinal qualities, culinary use and its place and status in past society. You will also consider the role that chocolate has played in famous events of the past and its use today in confectionery and in the art of dining.

Just Desserts
A demonstration by our experienced chef on preparing desserts for a gourmet dinner party at home. (See also our Chocoholic's Day). Our expert will take you through the entire process from designing your menu, buying the ingredients, matching and selecting the right dessert wines to accompany your creations to serving the finished article.

Become a wine connoisseur!
Our Master of Wine will show you how to appreciate fine wines, how to tell the difference between wines from different regions of the world, introduce you to the different grape varieties and tips on buying wine - what to look for and what to avoid. The day will include a tutored tasting session and visit to a local wine vault.

A talk and guided visit by our antiques expert to a local antiques fair and saleroom with expert guidance on bidding at a live antiques auction.
